Muddy, these are just awesome! Street cars and similar light rail are big favorites of mine, since I often rode the St Charles line when I lived in New Orleans.

How come we don't get cool things like this in the west anymore? Back in the 60s/70s you could get various collectable things that came with chewing gum or sweets (candy for you colonials lol) in blind packs of some sort. These days the only thing you seem to get now are kinder eggs and I for one can't stand the chocolate they make them eggs out of, way too sweet for me lol!
Happily collecting things all my life...
I don't know Nigels Maybe it's the lack of integrity of western capitalist standards that creates a greed that supercedes pride and creativity over profit?
The Japanese culture has a great sense of honor and principal that carries over to thier approach to everything that they do, like Japanese toys and thier production values, this is obvious when comparing them to something made by say; FisherPiece... I especially appreciate and LOVE TakaraTomy Corp. for this difference, and now Yujin, Meiji, and any other company that enhances the depth of the plarail line with blue plastic track compatable toys.
Play nice & have fun!!
