2008 Plarail Competition Thomas/Bertie set (Talking??)

Does anyone have this set, or knows if this tenderless Thomas actually talks??
The set is listed on eBay as "Talking", and I messaged the seller who says that it's speaks, but as far as I know the only untendered trains that talk are the new Revolutions, and I can't seem to find any definite answers searching the Internet.:/
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

Everything that I can find seems to indicate that this set is from the "Storytelling Series" but by the looks of the sets box, the inside of Thomas is no different than a regular Thomas. I will send you something.

Normally, at least as far as I know, there would be language bubbles from Thomas on the box if he talked but I don't see any here, plus on the back of the box the inside of Thomas looks the same as normal. Maybe someone can translate the box better.. There looks to be a fold out book or something on the box and since I think this is in a "Story Telling" Series the seller thinks he talks to tell the story where it may have to be read or perhaps a CD is involved.

Yes that is wierd Super because I just tried to send you a lengthy PM and it would not send either!:/
I think the seller is mistaken as well, and for $250 should not be!! I did also shop around and found one on Amazon for $151, but if it doesn't talk, even $151 for a standard Thomas set that I don't need is pointless.
Thank you for checking it out for me!!Smile

It doesn't talk, at least not from Thomas or Bertie but if there is a book included it probably has sound buttons to go with the story.
