Definitely some interesting looking track pieces there Mr R. If you find out what they are all about I'll be interested to know Smile

Good luck with the house hunting also, I can imagine a place with a large outbuilding already Smile

What you need is a big basement to build your massive layout. Sadly the house prices in toronto is ridiculous right now. A detcah 4 bedroom house cost you about a million canadian dollars on average!

Thanks Nigel.. will do. Yeah i dabble in wood working too so a separate building would be awesome. Split it right in two and have both hobbies under one roof..Big Grin

Sadley I do have a rather large (now finished) basement.. the issue is it is full with totes and boxes of trains..lol.. I have done some large layouts but having a raised table like Muddy and Super (once it is built Wink hurry up Super..) would just be a bit more convenient than having it on the ground..

@ripley802,

That's the "Exciting Auto-action E5 Series and E6 Series Auto-coupling Set" released in 2013.

The grey tracks allow the trains to connect and disconnect.

If you don't have the special E5 and E6, however, the tracks are almost useless.

I hope this helps. Smile

Perfect. Thanks so much Plarnold. Nope I did not receive those trains in the lot but will take a oook and see what turns up in the auctions. Although I must say I do not recall ever seeing these.
