Does anyone know what this one is? "Little Mermaid" Station

Anyone know what this one may be? I am not finding much through searches and have never really seen one like this. Sort of looks like a "My Fistt" style train where it is geared toward smaller children as the cars seem bigger. The track and stations though clearly look to be the normal "Blue Track" style.

It is very interesting and I would like to see more about it especially what the box looks like, is this the full set, is there music like the Theme for The Little Mermaid "Under The Sea" I seem to very Vaguely remember some of this. Wonder if the large piece has some action it performs. I have seen and think its cool that Mickey Mouse Stop/Go track with Mickeys hand as the lever. Help...I want need to know more. Big Grin

A little further research reveals that Mermaid Lagoon featuring the Characters from the Little Mermaid opened in Tokyo Disneyland in 2001, might this set coincided with the Grand Opening and only sold at the Disney Shops inside of the Resort?

Ahhhhh! So its possible that the Little Mermaid Clam Float and 4 Characters are part of a different set than the other parts. Makes sense as the Mickey Mouse characters looked out of place with the Little Mermaids. Now that pink and blue item looks out of place. What did they call this Ripley?
Yeah, very odd. I wish I could find a box of what it looked like.here is how it is described:

I can't figure out what Chiba and Disney have in common. It is evident that the set is Disney as there is the Mickey Logo on the seat at the Chiba station and on the stop&go track but looking up Chiba I see no Disney unless I missed it.

That engine reminds me of a custom one a member here was building but I can't remember the characters name.
i have seen the disney set on jauce, but it either has the figures missing or goes mega high.

Well that certainly answers the questions, thanks Sunhuntin for all the info and the pictures of the boxes. I think I have noticed boxes like those from time to time but I never clicked on them because they didn't look like Plarail boxes. Wonder what Catagory they would most likely be under in the Japan Auctions? Nice looking sets, sure wish there were videos showing them running and their sounds.
