I received a new rank using FromJapan.. What does this mean, well not much just 5% off shipping which is not huge but every little bit helps, right...?

In my defense, well I don't have one really but I have sold some to recoup on the initial cost but no where near what I have spent. Confused

Sad thing is I have not learned my lesson..

Does that mean that you get the 5% discount for EMS shipping for the period of a year? I certainly would take it especially with the large packages you receive. Besides...now you can buy 5% more stuff Big Grin

Yeah I believe so. It may be like eBay power seller status where if you maintain a certain amount you keep it. It shoes another 290,000¥ until the next rank.. Undecided

I sure hope I do not have any as big as the last one. That was crazy expensive...

Congratulations (I think - I'm never sure about these things lol).

How are you finding their new pricing model? Is it any better/worse than the old one? Have to say after reading it I stopped using them as it sounded like it was potentially going to be way more expensive and recently I've gone back to Jauce. Although the lack of sniping, the fixed fee etc... is still damn annoying...

Thanks.. yeah it was a bit eye opening to see what I have spent and probably a lot more when you add in eBay. Oh well. All in good fun right..

Yeah the fees I think are bad either way but FromJapan changed theirs a little. You still have the Buyer Pritection plan at 700¥ per win or the other at 300¥ per item. I was doing the buyer protection on all of the items but with this last one I went with the other option. I will see how it is. The other thing was the consolidation fee it was 900¥ but got reduced to 500¥.

Other than having the huge charge 2 payment I think it still works out cheaper or seems so. I have not purchased anything from Jauce though in well over a year so it is hard to tell.

I think this is the problem for me, the charge 2 payment when it comes along. If you got a goodly number of items it can be almost a heart stopping moment when you see what the charge 2 is, sometimes even more than the outrageous shipping costs lol!

With Jauce I'm sure overall it is probably still a bit more expensive, but at least you got "pay as you go" charges, so at least you don't get that fear of dread when you order a shipment Smile
