It is a surprise...lol..

I caved and got the Chirin Tekero (probably spelled that wrong) engines as well as the Thomas and Gordon. There were pretty cheap and with combined shipping I thought what the heck.. MAW, right.. Big Grin

Yes I got the same notification today since I got them from the same seller that you turned me onto after my HobbySearch faux pas...I don't believe the eBay expected date of March, 30th (which is tomorrow), but I am crossing my fingers!! We should have them any day now though!! Big Grin

Yep, I was only going to get Gordon, but against the price was right and combined shipping..

...I have not received a message yet from Hobby Search that Gordon and Thomas are released and are ready for shipping yet. I thought they weren't to be released until April.

Good. I'm planning on getting Streamlined Thomas first then Shooting Star Gordon.

And yes, I am planning to do a remake of Streaming from "The Great Race" and later an updated remake of Shooting Star Coming Through if I get Plarail Shooting Star Gordon, Trackmaster Etienne, and a Plarail Spencer to make Axel of Belgium.

The reason why I never got the Trackmaster version of Streamlined Thomas because he only comes in a set with new track (Which I hate so much that they look unrealistic) and I hate that he looks squished compared to Plarail's more accurate model. I a am also planning to get a Plarail Thomas and Percy to make Gina of Italy (Thomas's Body Shell and Percy's Chassis with special clay and a new cab. I might make Fredia of Germany probably out of a Plarail TS-04 Gordon using special clay. I also made Ashima of India out of a spare Plarail C12 since I got 2 off of Amazon (One was left the way it was and the other is Ashima of India). I'm also planning to make Vinnie of America, and Shane of Australia out of Plarail TS-16 Connor models with special clay. I am also planning to make Rajiv of India out a Trackmaster 2 Emily but I will cut off the cab and use special clay for the model. I also made Flying Scottsman out of a Trackmaster 2009 Gordon.

I am planning to make Yong Bao out of a Spare Plarail TS-07 Hiro but I will have to buy another one to make his model. I am planning to make Raul of Brazil and Ivan of Russia out of Plarail KF-02 HD300 Hybrid Diesels (I might have to get 6 because I am going to keep one the way it is and the others will be customs). I will have to make Logan out of the same model but using special clay like Raul's model.

Video of the recently released Plarail Stream Lined Thomas. I don't know about you but I am a bit disappointed that Annie and Clarabel's faces are stickers and not painted on otherwise they look pretty good and Thomas looks to be two speeds.
