Well part 2 which was incomplete showed up yesterday and the train box was damaged..Undecided. I have contacted the seller to find out a) where the other train is and b) what can be done for the one I did get which has the box damaged. There was no packing at all just in a paper envelope. I got some of the R-15 switches to go in a new layout when I get around to it. Big Grin

Did you get those from an Amazon seller?

Yeah. All were from the same seller. They said it was shipped in 2 parcels but I am still missing one train..

KT JP Trading House - Amazon Marketplace is the seller.
Ah...the Marketplace. I used to sell things there. The one nice thing as a Buyer on Amazon is that they hold anyone selling on their site up to their standards so you shouldn't have any problems getting your money back if you have problems...believe me, I know. Just document everything and either Amazon will reimburse you or they will make the seller. If the seller refuses they will probably be kicked off Amazon so the sellers have no recourse unless they can prove they can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that its not their fault but even then they always side with the Buyer. Curious to what the the missing train is?

Thanks Super, Good to know.

It is nothing special but I have wanted one for awhile now and for the price it seemed like a good buy.

Ah...the Schnabel Car, They are very unique for sure. Are both those trains the recently released remakes of the originals with the new AA chassis?

Theres nothing wrong with the original C battery ones. In fact I have always wondered why they even go through the trouble of updating all their previously released ones because there is nothing wrong with them.

Interesting that I've been waiting on a C58 from the same seller for over a month now. It usually doesn't take quite that long for items to get to me when I order from Japanese sellers through Amazon.
Finally after some back and forth and a few weeks later my other item arrived. The box was also damaged, although not as bad as the other one. Also I had the seller throw in some tires for my troubles. Don't know that i will be purchasing from them again though. Dodgy
