Yeah I understand what you're saying Super and if there was that must have pre-order - say for example a PlaRail Advance of the Star Wars Nankai Rapi:t which we've never had I hasten to add I would probably pre-order it any reasonable cost and swallow it.
But at the same time there have been several pre-orders I missed, which then when I checked on Amazon(JP) I was able to pre-order as well and at a much lower price and with free internal shipping via the 'Prime' offers when sold by Amazon themselves. Of course I wasn't after that special Thomas set from Toys R Us that you guys were after, so maybe thats an example of an exception - although come to think of it didn't Mr Ripley get his from Toys R Us via From Japan as I recall?
Bottom line is I think Hobby Search could if they wanted find cheaper shipping methods and would quadruple their orders overnight if they did...
