Lots of Plarail on eBay....

9 Replies, 7529 Views

I was doing my normal eBay searches this morning and started to notice several new items listed. In looking, most were from the same seller. There are some items that I have never seen before even on the Japan auctions, but they seem priced a bit high too?

I find it interesting that they have 34 negative feedbacks in the last 12 months, ALL from the same Buyer who bought most items for a dollar and complained about shipping costs. I also find it strange that the seller really does't describe any listings, only that . Hmmm, I also don't see boxes or mention that the "New" items come in their original boxes. And it also sounds like they have had a lot of shipping damage if they say to complain to the carrier which one should never do. Only go through Ebays and PayPals buyer protection service. And, even though it lists the Seller's location as Japan, items ship from China. This is happening a lot on Ebay and Amazon where a seller sets up an Account from Japan but everything comes from China. I have had that happen before which only leads me to believe that the seller wants to hide something. I am not saying this seller is deceitful but one has to wonder. Maybe I read too much into this and this seller is legit but one can't be too careful nowadays in this rip-off world...right?

I'm gonna say avoid as well, beyond what Super already said the images are all stock photos pulled from other locations (mostly Amazon).

I've found lots of plarail stuff on ebay for like $40 including shipping. Those prices are crazy!
Yeah it seemed a little odd since some of these only seem to come up in the Japan auctions so to see them on eBay was a bit strange.
LOL at his prices, there's no chance of any of that stuff going for the prices he is asking. perhaps he lists things that are from yahoo etc and doesn't buy them until he needs to ship them. Hence no descriptions. I would avoid as it seems very shady in general.

Ridiculously greedy.
Except Sir Handel. Though its is still about $100-$150 overpriced, a BNIB Plarail Sir Handel is about the rarest standard release to track down, and not often seen even on the Japanese auctions.
Play nice & have fun!!Smile

Someone is trying to make him look back, like only 3 or 4 of the negative feedbacks were from different buyers, the other like 30 are spam with the EXACT same comment/note on the same item.

Oh, And the same buyer.

The buyer obviously wasn't happy that his vintage videogames arrived damaged and only wrapped in paper, also he was overcharged for postage, that buyer bought allot of items from the seller. I don't see it as spam if it's true.

But having said that, the seller obviously tried to circumvent ebay final value fees buy making money from the postage lol.
Who wants a powerful gordon? Found one:
