This was another train that I wasn't actively seeking. I thought it to be nice and wouldn't mind having it but really didn't care to go out of my way for it. Especially at the high price that it was going for. This one is BNIB and was listed starting at 30% below what I normally saw them at so I just place an initial bid figuring someone would out bid me, but, lo and behold, there were no other bidders, imagine that, now its ours.

Is it the Chrome one??
Play nice & have fun!!
Thats the one Muddy...
The chrome is awesome. Does anyone have any information on this? I have always seen it listed as "USA Sales Express 583" Was it only released in the States? Also, maybe my memory is failing me but, has there been other trains using a "C" Cell battery that has a two speed motor?
AWESOME!!! I have never seen it with black panels either!?!? The one on Jauce that I am always eyeballing has green sides and isn't nearly as attractive...the Silver and Black is superbly superior!!
Congrats!!

Are the wheels green, grey, or blue? I cannot tell, but was curious.
They are a dark green. I am not a big fan of the colored wheels but these don't look bad. What would look the best, IMO, would be they were black. Hmmm, that reminds me, I have a lot of dark gray wheels I took off some HyperGuardian trains that may even look better than black. Hmm, I think I will see how they look on the middle coach. I know I have many for the engines, just don't know if I have enough for the middle and rear cars which take different type wheels.
Dark grey wheels would probably look great, but I kinda like the stock dark green ones only because it gives it a certain look of a special model of a particular era...very classic older Tomy feel and originality. Either way...it could have purple wheels and it would still be fantastic!!

Super, just to answer your question there are plenty of trains with C cells that have two speed, its probably my favourite mechanism in terms of quality, speed and quietness
BTW: REALLY, REALLY LOVE that chrome train and please don't change the wheels it looks superb as it is and don't forget its a collectible model!!
