ship wreck rails set question

Hi guys
Does plarail engines work with the track master shipwreck rails set? Because there's a thing on the set which drops the engine out to the pirate ship ,is all Pla rail engines compatible ? Also, can you also put any other small toy on the treasure dropper and the small toy drops in to the truck when the engine hits the treasure dropper? Thx

as i said in the other thread, highly unlikely. i also doubt plarail or earlier trackmaster engines would make it to the top. this set is basically what the trackmaster revolution engines were designed for.

the only trains i would willingly allow to drop like that are the junky ones for which is was released.

but will Pla rail Thomas engines work with the set?
also engines with coupled tenders or cars that can't be removed?

why dont you list why you think they would work? ive given you the reasons they likely wont.

end of the day, trackmaster and plarail are two completely different ranges. trackmaster revolution was never designed with plarail/classic trackmaster in mind. if it was, it wouldnt exist at all.

No Plarail & Trackmaster don't work, only Trackmaster revolution tank engines or tender engines with the tender uncoupled.

sunhuntin says: "No".
Ucwepn says: "No".

I say: "No".

In fact, most of the time, Trackmaster Revolution is designed on purpose to be incompatible with old Trackmaster and Plarail.

It's just not possible. TM2 engines literally weigh about 20% less than plarail or trackmaster, and we have gravity enabled.
I AM NOT DEAD. Just inactive.
Ok so is it the height of the train that causes to not fit in that thing that drops?

What I'm trying to say is that Plarail/TrackMaster is just too heavy to stay on it's side for just about any period of time. TM2 engines are literally a plastic shell and a lightweight chassis.

Ok, so what will happen when the engine goes to the pirate ship tunnel? Will it break or the screws fall out or the engine will fly out in the dropping thing?
