4080 pieces. the book was massive, about 600 pages? cant actually recall and its packed away for safe keeping. yes, the figs came with it, plus another 2 that are in the back as statues. so essentially 7 minifigs.
Hi Super
Unfortunately thats is not a complete set of all the ones released for the theme, if I had the money to collect all of them I definitely would yet some individual ships can set you back £120 - £250 as they have been discontinued. I will have to take some more photos of my lego collection as I have a ton of it!
it weighs a fair bit. even worse, where its going to live is on a unit just below shoulder height, so had to lift it a fair way, and the top half is designed to be easily removed. that means, the slightest tilt when moving, and its coming off. already broke it once. once apart, the two halves can be moved safely enough.
at a guess, it took 10-12 hours, give or take, just pottering slowly. doing an hour or so at a time.
its almost a metre tall, and about half a metre across.
ksthomas, have you seen the new winter village train set? designed to run with power functions [bought seperately of course $$].
Wow, I didn't know you were on Eurobricks! I attempted to sign up there, but I was never able to finish the full procedure so my account expired and had to be deleted. Similarly, I tried to join MOCPages, but the validation Email never arrived and they got rid of the 'report a problem' service long before my sign up attempt.
