That TV is in the way... Big Grin Although Evan wanted me to build a track above the tv.... Still trying to figure out how to do that....Dodgy
Might have to tear down the towers and build it around the tv.

Holy Cow that is awesome. And look at all of the yellow girders you still have left. Have these just accumulated over the yeas of collecting or did you find a large lot of them somewhere?

I like the idea of going over the TV. Maybe suspend it from the ceiling. Big Grin. Or (maybe not that stable, and may impede viewiwing) will the girders straddle the TV, to run track right over the top of it?

Good luck, looking forward to more.

All of the above. Started buying late 2013, then decided to buy a bulk purchase from ebay. And you probably noticed that my F-Unit collection came with its own tracks and girders.

I saw some of the Japan plarail show that they zip tied the square tunnels together. I might go that route.

Oh forgot to mention... I have two tubs of Monorail girders and half a tub of gray girders.

I blame ebay, jauce and super :p
Thanks!

Fyi It seems that Evan is now entering into Minecraft phase Dodgy
I definitely blame his daycare friends Big Grin

Simply Awesome AC. Just some fantastic work done there. You and Evan must have a great time together. Does Evan have any neighbor friends or relatives that come over and are amazed?

I think thats a great idea of zip tying the subway tunnels together to go over the TV. I have always wanted to try that to span a long distance. Seeing how they have done this at so many shows in Japan you can span layouts that are quite far apart. Anxious to see how that will work for you. Creating that over the TV will also give you a flat surface for the girders to run track on top of the tunnels too. Or would a monorail look good on top?

Ah, the cursed Minecraft, the drug dealer of the video game industry. Get kids hooked on games early with a pixilated game early and keep feeding them the drugs (games) for the rest of their lives. Up next, Clash of Clans and then Boom Beach.

To fix your addiction to Ebay, Jauce and Super, just buy everything and there will be nothing left get thus ending this roller-coaster ride. So my professional advice is to go on a shopping spree and buy everything, take two aspirin and call me in the morning because we will have to start working on your depression for not having anything to buy anymore. That will $200 please Big Grin
Evanzilla strikes again! But i told him too Angel

Yes I like building and rebuilding layouts.
Yes I just prefer tracks and do not use scenery and I do have a lot of them in buckets and buckets!
I guess I am inspired by those Japanese Youtube videos that shows towering tracks.

You would do well at the Japan Expos. Thats exactly what they do, build them up, take them down and it has nothing to do with the missus telling them to. Big Grin

Wouldn't it be neat and would Evan feel great, if his school had some kind of fair where the two of you could build and display one of your creations for all to see?

I like that symmetrical one in the last picture. So cool.

What's wrong with Minecraft? It's just a fun game. Undecided I would be worried if it was a phone game, or something the likes of EA Sports games or Call of Duty that he got addicted to.
Either way, there's no worry. Minecraft gets boring after a while, but it varies for everyone. Just don't let him discover the world of modding and custom maps, and he'll stay away from it for a good few years extra. c:

Nothing wrong with it, I just never played it or know about it besides the name Smile I usually can relate if he find/play something new. Besides, I want him to focus on plarail LOL
