New Trackmaster to old Trackmaster adapters

6 Replies, 16366 Views

Hi Folks,

My son has a fairly decent collection of Trackmaster trains and track. I didn't realize they had changed things, and purchased another $100 or so worth of track/trains for him for xmas, only to find out they have changed the track etc (googling about this led me here).

Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere I can purchase additional new to old trackmaster adapters? Some of the new track came with them, but not nearly enough given I was purchasing points and crosstracks etc. I had a quick look on ebay but all I could see were old trackmaster to blue track, or some 3D printed new track to wood track adapters from Canada.
i havent seen any new to old trackmaster adapaters other than in the sets, sorry.

if you keep an eye on trademe, theres been a little new track listed so you might be able to pick up a set, remove the adapaters and resell what you dont want. be an expensive way to do it, thats for sure.
my website address has changed: https://sunscollections.weebly.com/
Just throwing this out there.. amazon has the criss-cross junction set on sale right now for $5.77 which includes an adapter. Also an expensive option but you'd also get a cool cross-track out of it. May not hurt to scour ebay for trackmaster lots, might run across someone that has several. Good luck with the search
I could be wrong but if you contact the customer service line on the back of the box they will be more than happy to send you some free adapters (this used to be the case anyway).

This was most certainly the case for the HiT Toy Company; I think Fisher-Price offers them through broken/missing pieces from their customer service website, but I believe you have to pay for them.

If they were available as spares they ought to be here, but I'm not seeing them. They're still offering the blue-to-beige adaptors at $3 per pair though.
Hey were pretty new to trackmaster, just bought 2 sets for my son, one seems to be the old fisherprice track and the other is what ive found out is called trackmaster revolution. disappointed because the track connections are different, is this your problem also? or is it tomy to fisherprice you have? ive tried looking for convertors but all i can find is tomy to fisherprice, does anyone have any links or solutions?
