Hi Folks,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish all here and especially the friends I've made since joining this forum a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I know its a bit early, but if things get busy I may not get the opportunity to do so tomorrow, so better early than not in my book
It's been a great year made all the better by the lovely people I've met here and some great contacts I've made in the last few months. It's helped me understand the Tomy world and introduced me to ranges of products I never even knew existed. It's also taught me what to look out for and has helped me pick up some truly awesome lots including the one that arrived today.
It wasn't massive and had been listed as locomotives that 'worked but had some corrosion damage to the battery terminals'. Anyway it turned up this morning and as listed I found an Oliver, Rusty and Terrence? (The earth mover tractor). They looked in much better condition than I was expecting so it was with some trepidation I opened them up to test them with a battery. So it came as some surprise to find internally they are as clean as on the outside!! All work perfectly and if there is corrosion on the battery terminals it is very minor indeed. So I now find myself with almost Pristine condition Oliver, Rusty and Terrence - Merry Christmas to me
Have fun and play good, if you can't play good name the little ones after me...
