Reworked Layout is looking good Muddy. What I find unusual about this run is that except for James, all the other Flip Faces don'r look to have a problem with running on the Tomy track. I always thought that like James they would half flip. Did you do something special?

My favorite part, among many, of your Layouts has to be the Large Jeremy taking off and landing on the clear tracks and his loop around Cranky. Other than yours, I don't think I have ever seen another video with such a long large Jeremy flight path.

What about other members...whats your favorite part of Muddy's Layouts? Smile
Thank you Super.
About the flip faces...
I love them, but they are awful and so frustrating.
Hiro is one of my all time favorite releases, and the least problematic of the 4 HotR releases, but none of them are designed to travel under risers.
James’ tender is actually wider than his engine by a mm or so, and gets stuck, or drags the riser into collapsing, and his, Toby’s, and Hiro’s funnels are all too tall to pass under and enclosed short caged bridge, ( I had to remove the top parts of them in the video) while Thomas’ filp mechanism often gets hung up on the slightest track irregularity.
These models were one of the main reasons that I reworked the layout, so I was and am incredibly disappointed to still not be able to easily run them, and only be able to run them on 2 of the 6 loops, and still have to make adjustments for them. Sad

I did not know about the flip face trains not being able to navigate under risers.

Just a side note, if I may... Mattel/Trackmaster/Motorised or whatever the name of that company currently is, should make their trains to fit perfectly on Tomy tracks (layouts). They would sell more trains that way. I would buy some of their trains (for example, the Thomas & Friends characters missing from the Tomy range), but I hesitate to buy them because I know I couldn't run them out-of-the-box on my layout.

Muddy, those green U-Turn tracks look great in the Layout.

Are the green u-turn tracks from the Boulder Mountain set? Have they ever released that color in another set?

Yes OTR from the Boulder Mountain chase set,
I think the green loops are a first for Thomas sets, but I am not sure about other standard Plarail set though.

Which brings up the next question: How many colors did this style U-Turn come in. Off hand I can think of 3. Any more?
