We’ll probably start flooding our channel now that we’re idle at home on lockdown...:/
Good luck to everyone, be smart, and stay safe.

I am curious Muddy...did the shipping take longer in these times and did you still have to actually physically sign for the package?

Well I guess there’s not much mail traffic, because it shipped from japan on March 31st and made it to my house on April 1!!
Also, once again DHL disregarded the signature and just dropped it on the porch.

Thanks Muddy

I had forgot they shipped with DHL. For some reason I was thinking USPS. At any rate, in these trying times I wouldn't want to have to actually physically come in contact with the delivery person to sign for a package. Not only would you have to be closer than 6 feet but you will have to come in contact with the electronic device that has been touch by a variety of others. I know you have had DHL not ask for signatures before but maybe this time its temporarily by design to help protect their employees and the public. At least with DHL you can wave the signature before the package arrives.

I am expecting a package soon from Japan but it will come EMS via the USPS and I have always had to sign for in the past. Wish they had a way to wave that also. I am hoping they have waved the signature in these times.

Canada post (Canada national carrier) said they do not ask for a signature until further notice. They will drop off the package if the postman can find a place to do so. Otherwise you will have to go to the post office to pick it up.

Thanks Leyland, its good to know the Canadian Post is not asking for signatures but having to have to go to the Post Office is even worse. I would rather do the signing for at my door and immediately wash my hands than to have to stand in line at the Post Office and still have to touch and sign for the electronic pad. Maybe even take an antiseptic wipe and wipe the little hand held and stylus off first. Biggest thing I would want is for the delivery person no matter which Carrier would knock and ring the doorbell to alert one that something has arrive.

Thanks Muddy, this is very informative for me since I don't have much knowledge for the Thomas character line.
