Yes it's a spring from a pen...not quite the perfect spring, as it a little too thin and had to be manipulated to fit each end, but I it works!! Smile

Nice! I like how it gives an illusion that the sail is actually blowing every time it comes back up. If only it came like that in the box (though there could've been a few safety issues).

Was the "blowing" effect intentional, or did the laws of physics cause it?
