bulk auction won UPDATE: ARRIVAL

won this lot online for $200NZD. includes a complete monorail! should hopefully get it this week or next. have to arrange a courier to collect it, as the seller lives a good 2-3 days ride away, including a ferry trip that takes 3 hours one way.

Holy cow...thats a lot of stuff. Did they give you a list of everything? There could be buried treasure in those bins.

super, youve got that right! going to be 5-6 boxes when the seller gets it packed to send here. no full list, and i kept going back to the listings for another look to see what else i could make out. hoping for treasure!
normally id have begged them to just sell the monorail, but the yellow and black thing above diesel 10 interests me, whether its an engine or what.
going to be like buying one of the storage lockers at auction, lol.

That yellow and black thing looks like a DE10 (or maybe the DD51 as UCWEPN suggests) but it looks to be missing its chassis. I've seen it listed on its own on Yahoo for 3850jpy. Not sure if it comes from a set or not.

I would like to see that yellow diesel up close when you get it. It does look as if the chassis is not there but if I am not wrong it would fit on any of the DD or DE engine chassis if one is not in that box.

you guys have got my hopes up, lol. was thinking it looked like an engine cover. in the same pic, next to S C ruffey there is what looks to me like a chassis. almost looks like a big loader one.

everything arrived late this afternoon. im shocked by what was included! the black and yellow thing is indeed an engine cover and the chassis was there too, which was great to see. easily worth twice what i paid.

Thats a lot of boxes. I just love it when the Postman brings packages of train stuff but WOW...you have the mother lode there my friend. Excellent load of trains and accessories. Glad the chassis was in there for the yellow diesel. Any chance you could give up a closer look of it?

Looks like you are going to have many hours of fun examining each piece carefully.

I like getting parcels through the post too...... Unfortunately the wife doesn't appreciate them the same so she's put me on an eBay ban for a month! Damn I was just going to order a hyper dash 2 motor!
