I was able to get two of the TnA Thomas engines working. If I could locate some battery terminals I could get maybe another one working but that is a set back. One James is working too just need to get a set of wheels or wait in my replacement gears to come in. I had to swap out one of the activation pieces on a Thomas. If anyone has done that or know what o am talking about you know that is a real treat. Very hard to get in a small space with the soldiering iron.

Oh, and I forgot to mention a few things: 1) My TnA Henry's drive unit was so sad and sorry that I had to pull EVERYTHING out, even his speaker... 2) My JP Thomas and UK Annie need 2 new bodies 3) Both Gordon and Henry can't climb hills or bridges and need weights
Sounds like Henry and Gordon likely have cracked drive gears. Also Check to make sure there is not heavy corrosion on the battery terminals as well. I have seen the wires become almost dissolved from heavy corrosion. This of course can cause power issues.

I have several Thomas's in various states. Some are ready to sell and others are in parts/pieces.
Well, Henry has corrossion, but not that much and one of the terminals broke off, but he still works fine

My JP Thomas' Body tabs snapped off while rebuilding him and the UK Annie's coupler joiner Broke off Henry's drive unit and gears are broken, dirty, sad and sorry. So I had to remove them for cleaning and fixing, but it's useless to do so And could You please send me your location?? So that I can send these RARE jewels And lastly I'll send you some pictures, so you are clear with my problems Gordon's alright, he just needs his wires fitted If you could please send another Thomas while the repairs And sorry for being a LITTLE bit annoying The pics are somewhere in the main menu |
