Did you win that one? I saw one in eBay this morning that was up ton$250 US.. This was probably it..

No I didn't win this auction...But happily another BPT member did!!! So nice to keep the love in the family though!! Right!?! ...as far as the price is concerned it seems to still be a bit undervalued, as $450 is only a used Alfie's price.

I guess we are glad that is going to a loving home. Sometimes I wonder if the seller actually bidding on the item just to inflate the price.

Yes I suppose that happens from time to time now and then, but considering only 6 Monty's have ever surfaced since their supposed release over 5 years ago, it's rarity is still really incomprehensible...

They are coming out of Poland and the old Eastern Block countries because that's where Fisher Price buried and hid them...
"ALL" of them!!
...as in "Collect them All!!"
...AND didn't release them to the U.S, North/South American, Asian, African, or Western European markets just to throw a monkey wrench in anyone's plans to try to complete a collection!!!
Nor were they ever sold on Amazon or eBay ever, not one, (for the past 5 years) since their advertised release back in 2010...:S

Shady as shady is...but I think we've come to expect nothing less from the illustrious upper management skills of the inept, yet sinister, Fisher Price elite slacker filled suits.
On the bright side, their shenanagans have created an incredibly rare piece to find, and if my calculations are correct at £286 ($426.00 USD)(for a used one) very expensive!!

Considering $425 is what a used Alfie is currently selling for, and that there are hundreds of Alfie's in circulation, and that this is only the 7th Monty ever seen or sold EVER, I would guess this was quite a great deal and very wise investment!!
