Mystery Splatter!!!

37 Replies, 39666 Views

As I was looking over the lot that the T'nA Gordon was in, I noticed something odd...
At first I thought it was a mod because of the front hook, but then realized it HAS NO SWITCH SLOT ON TOP!!!! Just like the Dodge dummy car that accompanies the T'nA D10??? WTH??? VERY excited to see the rest now!!!
Any ideas about what/how this could be???
It's NOT an altered D10 Splatter either!!!...still NO SWTCH!!

I have one of those because I wanted to use the chassis to make a modded black Diesel for a tandem setup. Still in the to be done box.

I bought this one separate but I think it came with a Dodge and Splatter set where Dodge was powered but I am not sure whether it was a Tomy or Trackmaster release. For some reason I am thinking Trackmaster. For a while there I was buying any train I could find with a manufacturers front hook whether it be powered or like this Splatter, not.

Well I've never seen one ever, so you may want to reconsider using it for that Diesel project now until we've concluded it's rarity!?!?Wink

Super do you have any other factory Characters with front couplings besides Dodge/Splatter I should know about???
As far as I know there is the Back'n Go Thomas and Winston, but these 4 together are all that I am aware of..

I have seen quite a few of them for sale. In fact I may have another one or had another one that I sold in a bulk listing.

I don't know which one I have. I did remove the sticker but could this be Dodge and yours is Splatter as its a different color. I don't know all the Thomas characters very well.

Yes this is the dummy Dodge car that comes with the Plarail T'nA Diesel 10 and I have seen many of these and it is listed on wiki too...but Splatter is purple and NOT made as a dummy engine that I know of...are you saying that you don't have, or have seen this purple Splatter???

I would of origianly said it was a top swap but it has no switch slot so, it could be a prototype? Or even a model which none of us know of released exclusivly for the film. On the othr hand it could be a cinema promo the ones they have on the counter usualy which only the cinemas recive.
