Well, would you look at this! After a random search, it seems I have finally come across a listing that actually includes the elusive banner intact and attached.

Two of the photos were taken quite poorly, but both the relevant ones are clear enough to show that it's there. Honestly, I really didn't think there were chances of finding one, let alone where it was meant to be. The seller did mention it was "still on" and didn't just reproduce it for the listing. On the other hand, I knew at least one person who had the set had to have one. Shame there's no obvious way for non members to know who the seller is/was. Either way, I was pleasantly surprised and excited to find it.
