plarail peanuts arrived

these arrived this morning, less than a week after i paid for them. both sets came from hobby search

first, the biplane! this set is really neat. it comes with 2 white bumpy "cloud" tracks. i can see putting white tracks with this and elevating it, with a downhill track leading to snoopy's dog house.

the wings and tail are both detachable, as is the parachute. makes for easier storage.



next the bullet train. the windows feature charlie brown and his friends, plus snoopy and belle's brothers from daisy hill puppy farm.



the covers from the two woodstock wagons are interchangable, and im still none the wiser about the purple bird. google did tell me about a girl bird called harriet, but nothing to suggest she was purple. this may be cleared up in the movie, however.
the two wagons also feature offset wheels, so they joggle about even on flat track.

Great idea about the elevated track with a slope down to the doghouse. That should go over well with the kids at your next show.

I know I should be slapped for this but I think something like this would be the only toy worthy of the....um.....Trackmaster Revolution sets with all the climbing, and stunts. Planes yes, trains no.

Could you use some of the clear blue 'sky' tracks with the white clouds to give you a good sky track for the plane maybe?

super, im forever grateful these were plarail and not revolution. i get what you mean though... planes do fancy stunts.

nigels, that could also work. i dont have any of those in my collection at this stage, but see them now and then on jauce.
i also considered jeremy's track. that has the road connections so wouldnt be able to use the clouds with it.

i would like to get some tiny fake christmas lights and temporarily stick them to snoopys doghouse and maybe on the parachute, to echo the song "snoopys christmas"
