Is this really Worth It?

Fastec 360S three-dimensional rail set

Is this set really worth the listing price 0f 52000yen or do you think they made a mistake with one too many zeros? I can't see anything special, rare or hard to find in the sets picture.

Probably just a seller trying their luck, you know what they say...There's one born every minute Tongue

[Image: yellow-laughing-smiley-emoticon.gif] So then nothing special except the price.

Just looked it up at Hobby Search and saw that it was released in 2008 for an original price of 5000yen.

This set was not sold for very long 1 year only and has a very rare train in it, it is highly sought after and long out of print.
So is that a green E5 Shinkansen but what makes it special is the pop up mouse ears? From the front of the box it looks like the trailing car might have a different nose, is that also part of this special design? It is new in the box but is it really as rare as asking close to $520 for or is it like the seller hopes its worth it to somebody?

Yes it is the only place this train is found I think it is a real life prototype and this is the only toy version made. I agree it is not worth what he is charging and never meant it was, just saying it is rare, also those 2 concrete wall track pieces were only released in this set and one in the Keisei Skyliner Airport Access Set.

He is probably just trying to get Top Dollar or Yen I mean

Thanks Geris

I didn't realize that those two concrete wall structures were something special. On first glance I thought they were just like the J-13 stations. Thats what I get for assuming. Is the train green or blueish? Hard to tell on my monitor.

It is green. Ebay seller, vlastian had one on sale. I can't find it at the moment. Perhaps she already sold that set. She was asking like $200-$300 US for the identical set.

Thanks Leyland

I have seen these listed separately (used no box) on the Japan Auctions before and they were green just like the regular E-5 Shinkansens. I thought that maybe one of the reasons this might have been so sought after was a blueish color...now I know. Much appreciated my friend. Smile
