Checked Amazon JP today, they're all out of stock now. Both the Plarail Thomas and the Non Thomas items.

Loads of Plarail items on Amazon.jp today. What are you talking about specifically?

The Thomas ones, I bought those 2 Nias from Hobby Search instead because they were all out of stock on Amazon JP. I'm still gonna wait for the day they're all back in stock again.

Ha...wasn't even aware it was Plarail Day. 😒 I know we have probably talked about this day in the past but what would the significance of Oct 14th be?

Same day as Railway Day. Commemorating the first passenger railway opening in Japan. Normally there's an exclusive Plarail train.

Plarail Day Limited Edition items were released on October 14th every year between 1997 and 2005, but not since. Until 1999, they were reprints of old products with new moulds, from 2000 they were out-of-print products with improved details.  They all have this text somewhere on the box: 10月14日はプラレールの日
