Wow! Those two Plarail Real Class are heavy hitters, the 485 series is always a no-brainer, early bonnet style or later style....must buy for me. And the 185, it had me on "Shonan colors". Another must buy for me! Ore-orders are now available on Amazon JP, but I'm going to play the wait game on PRC and if like the first two goes down to Y4800 again, I'll get it. The S-19 I'll wait until it goes down a little, I see Amazon JP is going with the Y3006 delivery...Y400 more.

But will keep an eye on the dollar/yen...

For the record, the four new releases coming in October, all on the 5th, are:

• Real Class 485 srs Limited Express (Raicho)
  
• Real Class 185 srs Limited Express (Odoriko/Shonan group colour)
  
• S-19 E657 srs Limited Express Hitachi (revival green colour)
  
• E531 srs 'Red Electric' wrapping commemorative vehicle
  

The E531 Series 'Red Electric' paint job was done in 2021 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Katsuta Vehicle Center, it reflects the colours of the original 401 Series Red Electric.

All four are avail. for pre-order on Amazon JP and the 185 has now dropped to Y5600.  Expecting a further drop like the other plarail real class, although the two regular plarail, I may need to pre-order now.

I'm looking forward to the Red Electric 531.  Each time I'm in Ibaraki, often riding the 531 (with the blue) and always see it at Mito and Katsuta Station.  But have yet to see it in red.

What would be neat is if there was some way to connect the Motorized Road pieces to the upper portion of the elevated section to be able to run vehicles on it too 😁

Interesting...looks somewhat like the old Trackmaster R/C Controllers except no sound (I think). Its also very interesting that (I assume) that the chassis/motor assembly/R/C mechanics will fit into other non R/C Plarail trains.  Acceleration/deceleration, stop/back, 6 speed adjustments! Can be replaced with your favorite Plarail vehicle   All to be released on Nov 9th 2023.
