Thanks for the heads up Dr Chris 😃
I don't really know the type of motorized unit that is but to me, it looks much like a Tram and I find it odd that a Tram would be pulling a livestock wagon. Something new in this set is that yellow and green wagon. Do those colors go together? Ignore my nitpicking, I am happy that Plarail continues to put out new and different sets. I am curious to see better images and info on this item...is it included or not.
It's the Taiwan Metro lead car, and the mystery item is a pond.

Thanks Dr Chris
So not a Tram but a metro subway type car not meant to pull freight/cargo. Like the unique pond feature sorta like an 'Olde Swimin Hole' for PlaKids 😁
looks like the latest Taiwan set is once again Taiwan exclusive.

Continuing the investigative work, we will have quite a lot of new stuff coming from Plarail:
Source 1 Source 2 1. Newly-revealed S-36 Tobu Spacia X will replace the existing Tobu Revaty 2. Brand new Osaka Metro 3. KF-02 Large tank? and KF-08 Crane with container (I'm just guessing) One of the rare times KF box has to be twice as long. Also who decides mixing the order of the train sets is a good thing here? 4. EF-65 with 1 passenger car and 4 clear Tomica container cars; 6-car N700S with speed change rails and two Plakids compatible cars. This EF-65 would also include retractable front hook like the one in S-34. Hunting Shinkansen for life (but not at all costs) :>
Many thanks for the heads up Hanoi. I am particularly interested in that long Tanker which if looking at the photo is correct, will be able to purchase individually instead of a set or whole train. Wonder if we will see these displayed at the Tokyo Plarail Expo at the end of this month.
Not a Plarail Thomas release in sight?
Play nice & have fun!!
Well there's a bit of Thomas on the side of this page there, but I don't know Japanese in order to ask them to take a bit more pictures from the magazine so there's that. I'm just figuring everything out using auto-translate.

I hope they don't discontinue the TS line of Thomas products. Maybe not it being in there means they're out of production now possibly.
