Plarail TOMY Thomas NEW RELEASES

Too bad that isn’t a general release. A freight style EMU (I guess a maintenance of way train is more correct) is pretty unique and would make a nice addition to the regular Plarail line.
As announced, Seibu Railway inaugurated the new Doraemon Go! Train today. Here is Suzukawa's video of that event: 西武 DORAEMON-GO!のお披露目セレモニー&報道公開に行ってきた
In the train there was also a small Plarail layout with the new Doraemon train that will be released in December (we already had some pictures of that train in this thread) : Pssst, Santa, I need two of them!

Plarail doesn't produce a lot of maintaince trains. The most recent one aside from Keikyu Deto 11/12 is the flat bed that holds 1/2 blue plastic tracks recently. They were sold out like hot cakes. I am glad Hobby Search restocked them recently.
Is Doraemon still popular in Japan? I remember watching that cartoon series in the early 90s.

I am not sure exactly when the pre-orders start for this train (or maybe they already have) but I believe normally, pre-orders don't start until about a month or so before the release month. Anyone have more info for T-Blue?
