Those white areas were the first things I noticed about the new Edward, I completely missed that his rods are like every other train and not the short ones and the front trucks that originally came with him. If it weren't for TrainFanz bringing it up I may not have noticed for a while.
I like Henry’s proportions better than most recent iterations of him. When Fisher Price redesigned him from the battery-in-tender version, the Belpaire firebox became huge, blocking the cab front entirely, while the cab itself became overly shallow in front to back depth. They basically repeated the same design with the TM2 version.
In contrast, the new Plarail version seems to preserve the older design, which is much more attractive to me. I would love to have a couple to deface and run but finding the appropriate size and design smoke box hatch can be a bit of a challenge here in the US.

Oh boy!!!...I hope they are a new variation of PlaKids. I would guess then that it has a 'see inside' coach.
