Was that called a Streamlined Thomas train? Then those new Annie and Clarabel coaches are mighty colorful.

I still find it hard to believe that is what the actual steam looks like coming out of that Steam Along Thomas and not computer generated. If it is real, wow, nice work Plarail.

As for what the song says, I don't speak Japanese but didn't it say "Hi Plarailers, Join The Discussions At BluePlasticTracks.com"

Sadly I don't know when Streamlined Thomas and Shooting Stage Gordon will be released. Possibly as special set or as TS-21 and TS-22.

At a Plarail and Tomica show, we were glimpsed images of a Ringing Philip in Tekoro, a Ringing Streamlined Thomas in Tekoro, and a new steam Thomas set.

Hey Plarailers (oh, I haven't said that in a while).

So it seems Tomy are celebrating 25 years of Plarail Thomas, and they released this sing-along video.


They've also put up a video about what I have translated as the "Choo-choo! Steam Thomas Set".


If anyone could translate the song and the phrases, that would be awesome. Thanking in advance.

Now that is one wierd anniversary video. I do like how they went back to the first years of the license and included the old (Motor Road and Rail) items that started it all. If any Japanese speaking members are willing to explain what the lyrics mean, I shall use them as reference for appropriate (accurate, correct rhythm, rhymes and everything) English lyrics and get either MaddGirlz3761, FluteGirl2406 or LizProductions5784 to cover it (either solo or with me).

Yes, that is the streamlined Thomas from The Great Race (also in TrackMaster Revolution, albeit incorrectly used in a racing set with Percy, without Annie and Clarabel). If the steam is not superimposed over the footage, it looks much more realistic than both the previous Thomas and the steam and sound D51. If only the latter two had such an impressive effect. I highly doubt anyone at Tomy is even aware of BluePlasticTracks, so that is unlikely.

Oh, boy, a new Plarail Expo Tokyo in May, I wonder if there will be any Event Exclusive sets this year.

So the three Ringing in Tekoro engines are coming April 1st.

Also, can anyone translate this exclusive 25th anniversary book item here due on April 13th?
