At a Plarail and Tomica show, we were glimpsed images of a Ringing Philip in Tekoro, a Ringing Streamlined Thomas in Tekoro, and a new steam Thomas set.

Excellent. I 'knew' they'd have to make Philip, and it's even better that he's not motorised unlike the Revolution one. The first link also has an image of the (spectacular) Shooting Star in colour. I'm surprised they're making a Tekoro Streamlined Thomas in addition to the normal one. Hopefully the Internationals will be made and released in sets (similar to Caitlin).

From the first image, I thought the new Steam Thomas was like the Revolution one (self-contained), but it still has a battery truck. And what is that grey piece on the side meant to be? Pity the water doesn't go in the tank anymore (why the dome?) I'm assuming the switch (?) on his bunker is for the SFX and/or voice (that is, if it will still have the former).

...You probably know this, but that's Connor's basis. Not that Shooting Star wouldn't be suitable for the mod.

Hey Plarailers (oh, I haven't said that in a while).

So it seems Tomy are celebrating 25 years of Plarail Thomas, and they released this sing-along video.

They've also put up a video about what I have translated as the "Choo-choo! Steam Thomas Set".

If anyone could translate the song and the phrases, that would be awesome. Thanking in advance.
