A minor coding error has caused a majority of images and profile pictures to be deleted, we are trying our best to recover them.

I believe you are going to have to re-upload your Avatar. The others, I believe, are lost.
At first I thought it was just our Avatars that were lost...
Now that I see that EVERYTHING AND ALL THE PHOTOS THAT IVE SHARED FROM THE VICARAGE ORCHARD COLLECTION, ALL THE SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISONS, PICTORIALS, THAT I HAVE EVER POSTED ARE GONE!!! Powerful Gordon photo shoot...GONE!! Show us what you bought today...GONE!! Layout construction progession pics...GONE!! EVERYTHING!! Ooops sorry??? WTF is a coding error anyway!?!? This is inexcusable. That was 6 months of hard work, time and A LOT OF LOVE LOST!!! Just like that!?!? ALL GONE??????????
Play nice & have fun!!
Sorry Muddy, sometimes computer code programing is unfair. This is why using a third party Photo Hosting site like PhotoBucket is the optimum method for storing and posting pictures that are important. Now I don't profess to be a techie or understand what exactly happened, all I can say is that it has happened and we will all miss those pictures. I also don't know if by using phones its even possible to use a third party hosting site. I do know that I only use the "attachment" option for pictures I don't care about and store all those I want to preserve on PhotoBucket. Its free and you get tons of space for storing everything.
muddy, it sucks i know, but its not something that could be prevented or predicted. hsvdude does regular backups and the last one triggered or released some kind of bug or coding error. im not technologically minded in the behind the scenes lingo.
hsv and wepn did look into recovery [i think?] and it was going to cost $150. i would direct any concerns to them via pm.
