Happy that TM Skiff is coming with Hugo I do need that version
Just a thought, I think the Amazon listings would have been better to list since it's where it all came from.
I really like the Greatest Moments line-up, and it's a shame I don't buy TrackMaster anymore. I may know nothing about the Extraordinary Engines episodes so there's no context, but it is a surprise to see Ryan and Skiff released again so soon considering most new characters get a release and fade away. Plus they've both got new things about them, Ryan having mud and Skiff being his Railboat Tour self. It's peculiar seeing Hugo in a pack pulling things since I believe that's not possible for him but I guess it's the point of the story and the pack itself. Jerome is lovely to see too, since I thought his Walmart exclusivity with The Adventure Begins might mean Fisher-Price would neglect him. This could spell out hope for a re-release of Glynn. Knowing Fisher-Price though, I don't think anyone should hold their breath for Judy. This isn't a "collecting" toyline as such. Winged Thomas looks a little funny at first glance, especially that face, but the wings are a nice novelty. Plus having a Streamlined Annie and Clarabel means the Streamlined Thomas from Railway Race Set can be used to recreate the Streamlining song.
It's nice Demolition at the Docks and 2-in-1 Destination Set both having dirty variants of Thomas, and the sets are basic enough with cool looking features. The Crankys being released so close together are getting rather much though. It's pretty generous that there are more full layouts without engines as well.
Sticker-face Cranky makes me sad. Knowing that there won't be a shocked-face Thomas to go with him in the set should be expected by now, but I was really holding out hope.
EDIT: That Fenlands track set looks curious. No engine being released with, huh? Is it just another track pack? Why the big thin bridges? Seems strange to me.
Gonna want to grab a Jerome pack, and I am really curious to see if and how he's utilized again in the show. Shame there won't be a Judy but I bet there will be people out there who will make their own, out of Jerome of course. They are very similar!
Nice finds.

There are some promo pics of Judy that were leaked that look like they were taken from merchandise packaging. Probably Take 'N' Play. The two of them will be in an upcoming episode, but it's actually unknown if Ryan is confirmed to appear in the same episode as the one that spawned an image of Oliver with Jerome and Judy.

Still haven't painted FFF's Daisy lol sorry my guy (i promise I'll get that airbrush kit soon)
Those promo images weren't leaked, they were from Japanese material along with promos Green Thomas, Black James, Glynn, and some of the Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure returnees that haven't made it on to any other material found. Ryan and Jerome is most likely based on an episode from the Extraordinary Engines DVD, otherwise the pack would've been a weird decision to make. I know that some items in the past have little to do with a tie-in, but when it's characters like these it's safe to jump to a plausible conclusion.

1) Smart move, actually. The current incarnation only gets even worse than when it debuted, and tracking down anything from before is getting more and more difficult.
2) I didn't expect him to be released without rolling stock since introduction anyway, since it would be very unusual not to have him in a "Greatest Moments" pack first. I do agree they should've stuck more closely to the real show with the merchandise.
3) What? I didn't know he was discontinued (?). If he were to be remade, they should remake him non-motorised (like Skiff) so they wouldn't make his open parts all black again. Besides, I think they got Jerome's proportions wrong, such as the size of his face and his cab roof being a tad too wide at the sides.
4) That was exactly what I thought when I saw them. I feel The Great Race had far more TrackMaster product potential, such as sets based on the songs like Diesel and Paxton with crates, Streamlined Thomas being released with the blue Annie and Clarabel instead of incorrectly being used in a set where he actually races, etc.
At least the Trackmaster Skiff has his wheels placed within his hull as opposed to the Plarail one but the Plarail one looks better in quality of art even if it looks like he is on a flat bed rail car. Even with the wheels within the hull his mast still appears to high. Wonder if it removable like the Plarail one. Great info and input everyone!

I haven't heard about Trackmaster Skiff for a while, but I'm certain he can't be removed from the wheels without a disassembly.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but I've always wondered: why do you like Skiff with the wheels in hull? Are you planning on putting him on some track that's underwater so that it would look like he's sailing?
