i can get them in new zealand, but they are mega pricey. ive only seen them at one store in town, which never has decent discounts. they are something like $45NZD EACH! sucks when you can buy a starter set for only $5 more.

the other stockist in town has the glow engines, i think they $40NZD each. they sometimes do 40% off on fisher-price, so im hoping they do that again before too long.

Glow engines already? Aren't those supposed to be prototypes still? You mean Thomas and Edward right?

Wow, New Zealand is pretty lucky to be pretty much the first country to have it. The only pictures or videos I can find of them are still the blurry ones that are on the wiki.

I found them at Target in California. They were 14.99 each and very cool looking. Glow wheels and the driver is my boys favorite part.

There's a driver?? In the cab, or a figurine?

EDIT: Ah, I see now. Looking back at the picture I can see Edward's driver's silhouette in his cab.

I saw the Sky High Bridge jump set this weekend at Toys R Us this weekend. While this is not one I will be getting, there is a video from Toy Train Village on YouTube of this set of anyone is interested. Actually toward the end they Jump a plarail Conner.. Huh

At first I was getting most all of the TMR sets but it seems they are becoming more an more less desirable at least in my opinion.

Yea basic "this is what a train does" sets that focus on cargo etc are getting hard to come by. They are taking the whole train roller coaster thing to Hotwheels levels at this point. The set is neat and all but I really gotta ask the questions like "how long before this destroys my trains" and "how long till something snaps in that corkscrew". I also question the reliability, at Toy Fair demonstrations they struggled to even keep the train on the normal track sections, let alone make the jump. Ill continue using some basic Trackmaster track, but otherwise its all Plarail for me.
