Takara Tomy has made major announcements to Tomica

Starting in April, Tomica will now be box only and blister packs (regular line from No. 1 to 120) will no longer be sold.

Tomica will be going up in price.

Less plastic in the packaging, which we've already seen in Plarail with the ES series boxes which don't have windows.

Price rises between 3.6 and 11.1 percent in the few examples I worked out.
