Totally agree, they can get pricey and of course they are heavy so expensive to post/ship as well, especially internationally.  Although I believe that Hornby do have a USA operation so they probably can be bought somewhere in the USA if not from the distributor.

BTW, I missed the last page from the catalogue (well I didn't include all the trees and other landscaping stuff)...
