HiT Toys Cattle Wagon?

Am I smelling a possible future custom wagon or another of your great research and information projects?

Well, one thing does tend to lead to another.....
At the moment I'm trying to identify the real-life Japanese versions of the Plarail freight wagons that were later re-purposed into Thomas / Awdrey / Sodor rolling stock. The HiT cattle wagons above don't fall into that category though, as they have no Plarail antecedents - I got sidetracked!

It does seem a little strange that HiT would make a lovely cattle wagon and then never actually sell it as one.
