the box does have the Japanese Plarail logo the Yellow rectangle with red writing in it. But it is odd that the Tomy Logo is no where in sight on the actual tram/trolley itself, It most likely has the Tomy logo on the back of the box.
a very nice piece by the way I have always wanted that set but could not justify the price.
At least you have the very neat looking Tram.
