Yes, what Chrisjo said. I believe the C-57 is the only (non Thomas) Plarail steamer that is, what I call a 'Push' train as opposed to a 'pull' engine. Like the original Hank, Molly, Mighty Mac and Murdoch in the Thomas line. There are a couple of variations of the C-57 but all are Tender driven as far as I know..
