I Wish Tomy Would...!?

I know he's too unpopular unlike Tom Tank, but they should've made Ivor the Engine.



I'd expect to see him in a set with Llaniog Station, Grumbly Gasworks and Plakids of Jones the Steam and Dai Station.

However, GBHTrain from Deviantart made a really good TrackMaster (Revolution) Ivor for me, which inspired me to make the TrackMaster 1 version I posted in the Modification Gallery.

I can't list all my ideas, but here's one:

Like the Oigawa Railway Thomas, it shouldn't be branded as a Plarail Thomas item.

* Plarail Advance Thomas characters, after more steam engines are released. (Hiro could be made using a modified version of the existing D51 tooling.)

* More rolling stock from international railways, including Rakevet Yisra'el (Israel Railways).

* A cable car - hangs from both rails of standard Plarail track (similar to the zipline from the TrackMaster Misty Island sets, but motorised).

Make the C-53 Steam train. I know they made the tin plate version but would love to see one like this made with the details of the plastic trains.

There should be a Plarail USA. Me and Super would really enjoy that.

I vote for Plarail advance versions of things such as the Eurostar, German ICE, French TGV, Virgin Trains and of course some of the English classic steam trains such as the Flying Scotsman, Mallard, Stepney (after all he is real), etc...

The engine could probably be made using a modified Henry, but it wouldn't look as good as an official one.

Nigels, they once did. Ever seen older Tomica World sets? They made a TGV, a Eurostar (TMST), and a few miscellaneous american and british trains. Wish they made a Plarail world.

They already have the rights to Cars, but I see what you mean. It would be neat to incorporate the Plarail system with the Tomica Cars movie characters and have something to include those few loco characters. Maybe even just reskin some existing playsets just so the Cars can have a proper setting to run around near the track.

What about Stephenson from Cars 2 (2011)? I researched Trev, and he appears to be an F-unit [Super, this one's for you] with a B unit, and a second locomotive, also known as ans A-B-A set.
