2009 Trackmaster Edward Cracked gear

That's good to know thank you, also based on the info in the link there should be a section at the bottom that let's me attach (drag) images there but I have no such section. I even tried switching to classic mode and it's not visible there either.

Update: I just read the recent post by thehsvdude so now it works, here's the picture

I have a Tomy James that isn't in great cosmetic shape, could I use the gear out of that to repair the Edward?

Of course you could Gener but the gear would have to be exact in dimension and number of teeth but does Tomy James have the same type of motor system and housing? For some reason I am picturing a whole different motor unit in James than that Flat Drive you pictured but I could be wrong.
