Weird rolling stock ID? - MuddyPoppins - 08-23-2019 Does anyone know what this piece is or what it's from? RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - Super - 08-23-2019 Well thats just weird...3 wheels? I can't make out the lettering printed under the chassis except for China. What else does it say? There aren't any couplings so it must be a self roller. RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - chrisjo - 08-23-2019 Chuggington Emery CS-07 なんちゃってサイクルは手で押して遊んでください。連結はできません。 "Please play by pushing the cycle with your hand. It cannot be connected." RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - Super - 08-23-2019 Thanks Doctor/Detective Chris It is weird, my guess is this is something from the Chuggington show. RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - MuddyPoppins - 08-23-2019 Thank you chrisjo! RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - DalaGStanator - 08-23-2019 Yes, it is. In the episode "Zephie Ace Reporter" (Season 1), Morgan builds it as a personal vehicle to roam around Chuggington. He calls it the "track cycle", though in real life it would be called a draisine. Later, it gets destroyed by Action Chugger (no, not that one) by accident. Here's an example of a real three wheeled draisine: RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - leylandvictory2 - 08-23-2019 is this tricycle on rails even practical? RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - Super - 08-24-2019 Thanks Da-lag, very interesting. RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - sunhuntin - 08-24-2019 we have an old wooden one at steamrail. they were used for short distance track inspection, if memory serves. we know them as a "velocipede" RE: Weird rolling stock ID? - chrisjo - 08-24-2019 (08-24-2019, 02:18 AM)sunhuntin Wrote: .....we know them as a "velocipede" |
