P-89 Drawbridge??? - Super - 04-08-2019 This Vintage P-89 Drawbridge looks odd to me. Has anyone seen a video or know of this in action? What does it do, how does it do it? The right side looks like it ramps up, shouldn't that part ramp down. And there are the Plarail track connectors in the middle??? RE: P-89 Drawbridge??? - rekp - 04-08-2019 The 2 track pieces are packaged on top of the bridge and they connect to the ends RE: P-89 Drawbridge??? - Super - 04-08-2019 Ahh, now that makes sense, thank you Rekp. Sp I assume that the Drawbridge part acts like any other drawbridge then. RE: P-89 Drawbridge??? - AOF04 - 04-08-2019 I think the two bits in the middle connect to the middle of the bridge on each side not the ends. If you look closely the bits sitting on the bridge have one flay end which means it needs to finish somewhere. RE: P-89 Drawbridge??? - Super - 04-09-2019 Interesting AOF Each piece has a plain end that might connect to the crossing sides of the bridge. That would be neat, sure would like to see that in action. How would it prevent collisions? LOL...maybe thats why they discontinued them. RE: P-89 Drawbridge??? - AOF04 - 04-09-2019 That would be why. They do the same thing for a road joiner to a bridge in the older stuff, but the road piece has a little button to press to allow the bus to go. RE: P-89 Drawbridge??? - Super - 04-09-2019 So this would be the same as the road crossing drawbridge you pictures except its a train crossing drawbridge...interesting. Thanks AOF!
