ID please - chrisjo - 11-01-2018 Can I have a name and origin for this please? RE: ID please - Nigels - 11-01-2018 Hi Chris, Isn't that one of the Hyper-City trains? I'm not sure its necessarily modelled on a standard 'real' train. Although I could be wrong, I'm sure one of the experts will tell us Cheers, Nigel RE: ID please - Super - 11-01-2018 Its the Boso View Express. We had a discussion on it last year when member Bollard brought it up. Lots of info an videos here https://www.blueplastictracks.com/showthread.php?tid=2673&highlight=Boso RE: ID please - Nigels - 11-01-2018 See I told you an expert would be along shortly - just like commuter trains RE: ID please - chrisjo - 11-02-2018 That's nice, I just nabbed one from ebay for peanuts. AKA Tomica World 'Inter Rail', item #7462. RE: ID please - Super - 11-02-2018 Good for you Chris. Here is a gray wheeled one going for quite a bit https://www.jauce.com/auction/m291575154 RE: ID please - bollard - 11-02-2018 currently for sale Uk, two for the price of one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOMY-TRACKMASTER-PLARAIL-TOMICA-WORLD-2-locomotives-and-selection-of-carriages/264009135911?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140725134205%26meid%3D8e2f837d19d54bf3929fed98f69e610d%26pid%3D100277%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D264009134405%26itm%3D264009135911&_trksid=p2060778.c100277.m3477 RE: ID please - chrisjo - 11-02-2018 That one looks like it's got considerable damage across the front though. RE: ID please - bollard - 11-02-2018 oops oh yes i see RE: ID please - chrisjo - 11-07-2018 Well, it turned out that the damage wasn't as bad as it looked, just black felt-pen marks that will hopefully come off, but really it was the extra Boso View coach I had an eye on anyway. A pity I didn't notice that a black perspex window strip was missing. What I did notice however, and the star of the show for me (apart from scoring another red & white express coach, always welcome), and the reason I was silently cursing you for advertising the lot while it was still live!, is these: No Plakids unfortunately. And now I've got another question, a request for information about the origin of this spare coach that I don't remember coming across before, and it's much easier to ask here than to spend hours searching? |
