so buy reading it S8050 is PNP and 8050S in NPN?
Am i reading i right? So you would need a NPN transistor.

To be honest I do not recall. I believe that may be the case. As long as the number matches I think you will be ok. I believe I even tried a few others that worked when I was testing but it seemed hit and miss until I got the one with the right number. Here is a good post on the difference in Pnp vs Npn.
