Thanks Mr Ripley, you are indeed right about Thomas having a push button on his boiler, I never noticed that and thanks for correcting me about Lori, I got Lori the other day so it probably stuck in my mind lol!

Have to admit I was a bit surprised to find Oliver in there, he was listed by the seller as 'Duck' Wink

P.S. Check your PM's Wink

Excellent Nigel. Thanks again for the info. Yeah I saw an Oliver listed as Perxy once and it was only selling for a few $$ then I think a few people found out and it ended up selling for a lot more. If only people knew what they had.

Here is a quick pick of the two bumblebee James's I picked up. As mentioned the one had no face and both had broken wires but are all back to good now.

I wonder how the yet to be released (November) of the Plarail/Tomy Bees Chasing Along with James Freight Car Set will compare to these Trackmaster Bee James? http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10338802

I am interested in seeing this one too. I have seen the listing on hobby search but there have not been any pics that I know of yet. Should be cool though.

1) The "Lori" is Elizabeth.
2) The Thomas with the permanent truck is a Talking Thomas (not Talk-n-Action).

Wish I could score on lots like this. There's a whole list of reasons I can think of that prevent me.
-I am very unprofessional when it comes to cleaning and fixing these trains.

-In addition, even the slightest scratch or smudge can gross me out and make me resort to peeling off the stickers and promising myself to turn it into a scrap engine. (I actually did this a few days ago with the Thomas that I got from the used Quarry Loader set on eBay. My paintjob was a bit sloppy and I should've been smarter before I started it. I wanted to wash it off, and got most of it off, but now he was rust-color around the edges of all of his stickers, and what looks like blood coming from his eyes. Poor Thomas!)

-I always find ones that are too expensive...

-...or have blurry, suspicious pictures.

-When I do find them, Mom doesn't want me to buy so many trains at once.

RE: Latest Box of Bits - Nigels - 03-20-2016

Job lots are always a hit and miss thing, some are truly rubbish with a lot of trains only fit for scrapping and using as donors for parts, others are unbelievable bargains full of either working engines or engines with minor defects like a broken connector.

Mind you I'm one of these that even with the 'rubbish' lots I tend to get most of the engines working eventually, so far I've only really scrapped a couple and then it was due to things like broken chassis which is a bit difficult to fix without a donor. But even then I will strip all the usable parts off these models with a view to resurrect them in another engine which has another problem.

One of these days I've got to go through all my engines and start to sell off some of the duplicates, but its difficult as they are like my little children lol!!
