OK, let's bring this one to a close. The trucks are laid on their sides, in each layer there are 3 rows of 7, and there are 6 layers.

3 x 7 x 6 = 126.

Wow...you have quite a bit of Trucks in your collection Dr Chris. Did you discover this because you are storing them away like this?
Yes, they do rather seem to have accumulated over the years!  Everything's getting packed away in boxes at the moment because I need to re-organise the space in which they are stored. It's also a good opportunity to take a long hard look at the collection and try to decide which direction it's going!
