bought yesterday...

bid on this at the last minute and won for $21! seller says it is complete, including the 3 little figures which i specifically asked about. been a while since i added blue track to the collection.

thats good to know about the chuffing annie! hopefully she is included, and sounds decent.

the set arrived on thursday in great shape. thomas has a split axle gear, so he went into the parts box. annie is indeed a chuff along, and she sounds pretty good for the age. the little people are in great nick as well.

being thomas, scrap box is a death sentence. if it was something rare, then i would attempt a repair or replacement. split axle or not, he would have ended up there.

LOL! not at all, but back in the day you got him with almost every set. i ended up with dozens of him through buying second hand. ive got one good tomy thomas to run, the rest are scrap yard material. generally, if i have one nice engine, no matter who, to run, any duplicates i either sell to a friend for her son or put in scrap.
