Higashiyama Line N1000 Why So Rare?

Those backlights don't really work if you're playing around inside the house. I had to shine an extremely bright torch for it to shine just a bit on my Tokyo Metros. Smile

I am actually quite disappointed by the new trains with lights as well. They're not as bright as they should be. Some like the Romance Car use light bulbs which is good considering it looks more natural. However, the set up of the train means lots of the light is lost. Therefore, it would have been a better idea to use warmer LEDs.

I agree on the light issue. I have an old DS51 which wasn't running very well. I liked the light on it, it was very bright. I bought a new DS51 and the light is terrible. Almost useless.

I've started to put my on lights in. It is very simple, i bought a kit from http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com I but the light in a few minutes using only scotch tape. It looks great and there are choices on size and light type
